Stripey Iceberg

As I keep up with the posts by the crew of the Greenpeace

Esperanza, I am just dumbfounded at the lack of attention the

Japanese Government is displaying. They are consistently

refusing to allow the Esperanza to tow the injured ship, Nisshin

Maru, out of the Ross Sea and this ship poses a threat to not

only the precious lives on board the ship but also to the beautiful

environment. I know that there are other serious issues on this

planet but the issues of the environment are also important.

Please send a letter to the Japanese Embassy in your area,

contact your local Greenpeace or any other Enviornmental

Protection group. Stubborness does not get anyone anywhere.

Only by working together in a peaceful way can things be

accomplished. Here is a link so that you too can keep up with the

situation in the Ross Sea and follow along with Greenpeace as

they try desperately to help the Nisshin Maru. Here is a link as

well to a post that has a letter already written that you can just

put your name, email and select send. Please read the email so

that you know what you are sending. I appreciate you all taking

the time to have a part in saving the Nisshin Maru and her crew

and also saving the Antarctic and the beautiful wildlife that

inhabits it.
