Things a Mother Might Ask

After spending the past five days at home with my children, I think I am ready for another vacation. Lebanon had their Independance Day on Thursday so I guess the schools thought it would be a great idea to send them to my house for an extended period of time. I mean, I guess it is ok since they do live here but really, what were they thinking?

Did they not know I had mountains of laundry to do? I think they forgot that I also needed to wash my floors and dust. I have been trying to hunt down the numerous dead blogs that I have, really it’s not that many, only two others, but I was trying to remember this or that screen name and password while trying to clean up the one I usually write on when I do find that hour or so of “free time” to put together a paragraph or less of what I did that day.

I ramble with no point to this post except my younger son has a new phrase, “Come I show you Mommy”. Cute at first and now, well let us just say that he sounds like a broken record now. But I truly am so tickled when he shows me his new found discovery. He loves to make his body a canvas for sharpie art lol.
