Studies….AGAIN!!!

WOW…I should have waited to make my grand appearance till after I finished getting set up for the Fall Semester. Who knew so much needed to be done, and I thought I had planned well enough in advance to avoid such complications.

Well, all is well now and NOW I should be able to have my little journal writing fit nice and neatly into a cramped schedule but I so miss writing about the days events, especially now that my 5 year old has attempted to establish his authority over me because I said, “No, you can not paint at 10 in the evening.” Whooaaaa was he M-A-D!!!

I thought someone had snatched my child from his body and replaced him with someone or something else. I fixed his little wagon and off to slumber beddie land it was for him. Mr. I am the man of the house because daddy is gone. Daddy doesn’t even do that to mommy so I don’t know what channel he was watching.

I think some of it has to do with being around different types of kids this summer. His little cousin better be on the look out because they hung with some tough kids for the past 3 months. Well, as tough as a group of 5 year olds can be that is lol.

Then there is the menace. My little Omie should be the poster child for “How to Make a Mess look Cute in 1001 Different Ways.” I could see it now, no words needed, just pictures of what he does is enough to stir the imagination of any 3 year old wanna be wall picaso/chef/juice box smasher/let’s play in the saboon (soap powder) because it feels like sand/let’s see what we can cut with scissors and show mommy/let me sneak the chocolate and hide in the salon under the couch so she will get scared I ran out the door somewhere and can’t find me for 20 minutes and when she gets scared enough jump out and say, “I’m here mommy, I didn’t eat any chocolate.” even though the wrapper stuck on my leg is just as obvious as the chocolate circle around my mouth type thing lol.

That little guy, he even tried to feed my new fish recently, which reminds me, I need to put his/her picture up and show you as it grows into a giant, dog like acting fish. I have a baby Oscar. They are fun to play with but you have to start when they are little or they might ignore you. I used to have two Oscars named Ned and Ted Oscar. They used to play dead at the bottom of the tank and when I would freak out something was wrong, I would grab the net and when I just about would get them to the surface, they would flail around so much I would get drenched, that’s messed up if you ask me lol.

The O-Monster also found our fish net and discovered how to use it. All to my daughters disliking of course. She walked to the kitchen and all I could hear was OMARRRRRRRRRRRR NOOOOOOOOOOOO……lol apparently he had sucessfully ( I am sure he was so thrilled he did it too.) fished her little goldfish out of the tank. He’s only 3 for crying out loud…i can barely catch them, they are fast. Anyways, he had taken it out and left it. His reason, “it was bouncing and bouncing mommy I was scared it would eat me.” words to that effect anyways.

I sort of chuckled when my daughter thought the stiff fish was actually still alive as she put it back in the water lol…I am sorry but that was funny…my poor baby girl. The tank is now in my room and my little Oscar plays hide and seek so far. The net is hidden now by the way.

We also, during my abscence from here, were finding little piles of screws and this or that little piece of something …it was like a trail of things. O-Monster has now figured out how to take intriquite (sp?) things apart and leave them, just like his dad does. I hear MOOOOOOM, O-Monster took apart my clock or MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, he has a screwdriver!!!!!

LOL…All I can do is laugh. Take a look at some of the other posts I have to get a visual of what this little dyanamo looks like then close your eyes, sit back and watch!

That’s all for today, I have to go study. Sort of. Read mostly but I like to read so it’s not really grueling for me to handle that. I feel out of place even in the online classes because I see myself so many years ago as a ‘young one’. Did I really used to sound like that? Man I hope not, how embarassing lol. Yeah I knew it all right? See you soon. Be on the look out next week, Tuesday actually as I attempt to make the pick of the week. Stay tuned for more……….
