On it’s way to the USA!!!

Well, who says voting from overseas is hard? It was actually quite easy thanks
to the nice lady in Houston and the

Texas Overseas Vote Foundation !

Of course if you happen to be from another state, they will help you with that too.

Just keep an eye out to make sure if your state has a mandatory notary stipulation which could easily be taken care of by the US Embassy near you.

It felt great getting that sent off. Too many times we hear how our votes do not count and most will sit back and complain because things are not that great. It takes a lot to be the president and sometimes it turns out great and sometimes, well……you know the rest.

I hope that everyone takes the day off to go vote and I am anxious to see the numbers. The election is the talk of the town here in Beirut with many asking me who I will vote for. I make no secret of who my vote is for and it felt weird being a registered Republican voting for the other guy.

A registered Republican from Texas no less. Oh well, my family probably won’t be too happy about it but I don’t care. I want a change and Obama can bring that change so long as the others are willing to play nice.

Good luck to all of you out there, in the states and abroad and please use your right to vote!

Overseas ballots need be postmarked by 7pm EST NOVEMBER 4th. Pleast try to do that before that deadline.

And here is some help for those of you looking for your local spots in the states to go and cast your vote:’

Where can I Vote? (service provided for by Obama Campaign website)

Vote 411 (site put up by League of Women VotersĀ® Education Fund )

Overseas Vote Foundation (site to assist overseas voters, including our great troops stationed overseas)
