I feel bad that I have neglected my blog so much. Life just kinda took over and I almost forgot how to turn on the PC for anything other than paying bills. The boys are getting bigger by the second and time just seems to slip away from me in the blink of an eye. My grandson is already ONE! He’s cute and cuddly and I am still trying to figure out how to split myself as full time mommy still and grandmother. Wonder if there is a book out there somewhere. I have been keeping tabs on my amazing football team and recently discovered that there is another CHARGERS fan in my area so that makes at least four of us that are CHARGERS fans in the frozen tundra of Northern New York where you are supposed to be a YANKEES fan *puke puke* and I am definitely not one of those kind of people lol. PADRES ALL THE WAY!! And then there are the NY football teams that I am proud to say do not have me as a fan. Football has been great the past year or so because I actually had someone to watch it with! I am trying my hardest to get into NASCAR but I am just not feeling it. Anyhow, Thanksgiving was great and went off with out a hitch and the turkey was so amazingly moist and tender and super tasty. Decided not to stuff it this year and that actually might be the key to the moist issue. Maybe the stuffing sucks all the juice out of the turkey? Who knows lol. I bought a roaster pan thing and that was such a great decision as it freed up my oven for me to cook my tasty Pecan Pie (recipe straight off the bottle of Karo Syrup lol) can’t go wrong with that right? Well, I am needed as usual to download this app or that app or RPG? I forget. I am going to try to be more consistent with my page and know that there probably are not a lot that read the page but if family gets to see the updates then thats just fine by me. Time for some hot cocoa!!

After a disappointing season with my team, the past 3 San Diego Chargers games have been unbelievably incredible!!

Tonight’s matchup against the Ravens had me nervous but amazingly, Chargers have dominated the field. One minute left in 4th quarter and score is 34-14.

I wish they had played like this all season but, rain or shine this team is mine!!

GO CHARGERS!!!!!!

My Youngest Boy

Well, the picture says it all! It seems my sons have not overcome their addiction to toilet paper.

My youngest son wanted to make a “skeleton” suit! I have no clue where he gets these ideas but I am quite thankful that he has a great imagination.

Finally a chance to post, I am back in Freetown for about a month. I’ve been meeting a lot of different people from literally all over the world. My husbands job makes it possible for these wonderful opportunities. We went to a different beach last Sunday. We enjoyed it til the rain came but even then it was still nice. More to come unless rainy season sees fit to ruin every weekend!

Breast Cancer Walk

It was an early morning for us but we muddled through it. My guys were excited about doing the walk and even said that it felt nice to walk, even in the rain, for a great cause!

They do not understand completely what cancer is but they know it’s something not good.

It was nice to think of someone other than ourselves for a change they said.

I am so proud of them!

Pump and Park….Pretty Please!!

I am really getting frustrated with those people who fill up their gas tank and decide to spend 20 minutes inside while 20 of us wait to fill up! It’s really annoying if you are about to run out of gas and driving to find another gas station is out of the question…Especially when it’s winter time.

So many times I have gas station rage because of inconsiderate pumpers who decide to leave their car by the pump and then go inside to get who knows what else and then emerge after a grueling 10 to 15 minutes.

So if you are one of those kinds of gas pumpers, please be polite to those of us behind you and pull in to one of the empty parking spaces in front of the store where you pay. Heck, you may not have to walk as far either to get your donut and cup of joe!

My Curious Child

For a few days now when all is quiet in the house, I kept hearing a sound that sounded like someone throwing stones at the window and sometimes it sounded like ice snapping.

So last night I finally investigated and tracked where the noise was centered and I found the cause.

A few weeks ago my youngest decided to take apart our big flashlight and though I searched and searched, I could never find that silver piece that the little lamp fits through that helps it illuminate more.

My search ended last night as I had finally found it, melted to the top if the light bulb for my lamp!

Naughty naughty boy. We are very fortunate to not have had a fire I suppose.

A bit scary really because I now know how some LEGOS got melted!

Suing a game

Well, I thought I had heard just about every excuse in the book for why someone playing a game loses a man or can’t get through a level.

My oldest son was almost in tears because he can not get through a level on his game so he said to me,

“mom, is there a way to sue the people that make the games?”

“why would you want to do that son?”

“because they made it impossible to get through this level and it’s not fair because I keep trying and trying and I keep dying!”

Of course he said it with his whiny voice and had a few tears! My poor baby lol!!

Tylenol JR Blister Packs

I was opening a new box of Tylenol JR Meltaways and to my surprise, the blister packs inside were unsealed. Of course I did not give any to my child that was in need of some Tylenol and instead reverted to my alternative Motrin JR.
It was just so surprising because the box of Tylenol that I had opened was properly sealed and did not appear to be tampered with. I am sure it must have just been missed by quality control since part of the blister spots on the pack were sealed partially.

So just remember, do not use medications that do not look properly sealed regardless of the outside packaging being properly sealed. You just never know and I for one won’t take a chance as I am sure no one else would either.

He Makes Me CRAZY!!

Today was uneventful. Too cold to play outside and I have a fear of my little guys getting sick again. I think I will chance it tomorrow, they must have cabin fever. Going from freedom and warm weather to icy cold conditions is bound to get anyone a little stir crazy. I was helping my husband with his website, blind leading the blind, and it’s driving me crazy because what I do understand he doesn’t and I feel like I have to type a novel just to explain something so simple. I can not convince him to just let someone design it for him. He’s set on doing it himself. Guess we will see how it works out. In the mean time I am looking for a straight jacket!
